We respect your right to control your data.
Here's exactly what happens when you delete your account.

Go to Settings → Delete Account and follow the confirmation prompts.
When you delete your Locanter account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
| Data | Action | Timeframe |

| Push notification token | Deleted | Immediately |
| Tickets you purchased | Deleted — upcoming tickets are forfeited | Immediately |

Transaction & purchase records may be retained for up to 6 years as required by Irish tax law (Taxes Consolidation Act 1997). Payment processing records are independently maintained by our payment provider, Stripe.
If you own an organisation or have created events, your account can't be deleted in the app — this protects the people holding tickets to your events. Please transfer ownership or contact help@locanter.com to arrange deletion.
You don't have to delete your entire account. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request erasure of specific categories of your personal data while keeping your account active.
For example, you can request deletion of your interaction data, location history, or device identifiers without closing your account.
To make a partial deletion request, email help@locanter.com citing your right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR.
Contact us at help@locanter.com and we'll be happy to help.
